Cup Holders

Does anyone have a solution for a cool cup holder? Something you can use a "coozie" with, preferably in stainless or chrome.

Re: Cup Holders
"BCS" Beverage Containment Systems. Look on the web. They have a few cool solutions but are pricey.
Their website appears to be gone but there are a few retailers online such as http://www.off-road.com/jeep/reviews/bcs/ The anodized aluminum ones with the ball bearing gimbles look cool but are way expensive. Ron |
Re: Cup Holders
$125.00 ?!?

Re: Cup Holders
Do you hit the one in the drivers seat with your leg?
I'm kicking around next winter to modify the trim panel you have yours mounted to and make it wider to accept a regular cup holder like the bigger boats have. |

I have a 2000 29 Fever and did not have cup holders just like yours. I had fountain make me a set of cup holder panels for the driver and passenger side. It bolts in the exact place that your vinyl panel covers are now. They worked great and looks like it came from the factory. It was a little pricey though at about $250 for both pieces. I will take some pics this weekend and post up. Here is a pic I found of a newer boat that has the cup holders when I was ordering from fountain.

Re: Cup Holders
I think that I ordered them from Robert(?) It was about $220 for the cup holders and about $10 to ship. I got them done about a year ago.

Re: Cup Holders
Didn't know that was available, but that is what I'm considering doing. Wonder if the 29's are the same as my 32'?
Any passengers side shots? |
Re: Cup Holders
Thanks Guys!!
Thats exactly what im looking for...I will be on the phone with Fountain tomorrow to check a price. Do you know what size of cup holder fits in the opening? :evilb: |
Re: Cup Holders
Get the biggest one possible if you have a choice so a coozie will fit.

Re: Cup Holders
Nope, that's shows what I need. Thanks.
It appears the lower panels are not changes any, just the uppers with them extending out past the lower panels (part of seat base) |
Re: Cup Holders
Talked with Robert today @ Fountain parts. He quoted me "around" $400.00 but wasn't sure if it was available for the 27'. He said he would check into it and call me back. I'm still waiting

If they are available for the 27 count me in. Maybe if we get enough of them for a run it will help out. Ron |

good idea! :drink: |
I'm checking with Fountain to see if I can get something like this for the soon-to-be mine 27. It currently has white plastic flip cup holders that are just unacceptable.

This is what i did. I took the panels off and had my local shop make some just like fountain did. They used my panel so everything bolted right back up. I can't find any pictures right now but they look just the same as factory
|
I had a local guy make them and just screwed them to the existing panal. Can't tell it from factory.

It's from Fountain, had holes for gauges. Just cut it out for the Garmin and had Steve make the panal to match the dash

Here you go, I made a template and sent it to steve. I'm sure he still has it. I also did the port side to match. Gives it a little balance.

That looks great. Did Steve do your glove box door? My carbon is peeling off the door.
Yea, Steve did the door. It's just applied with double sided tape. You could proabbly pull it off and re apply. Those look good. Do you have contact info? I'd love to look into getting two made (just with red cup holders). Tim @ Auto Interiers in Raleigh. 919-821-4425 Very talented guy, he did the sundeck, cabin carpet and made the pillows. We also removed the sink and cooler. Made panals where it was. Looks factory with a lot more storage. http://i564.photobucket.com/albums/s...4-22-12007.jpg http://i564.photobucket.com/albums/s...4-22-12005.jpg |
