Far from interesting, try pain in the ass.
It is also far more complicated than just this boat since there are other shared business interest.

Last partner in charge had the gall to claim he kept it in fine shape while under his care. Damn thing had a green carpet & rub rail sections hanging free beneath the water line.

Also had driven off with shore power still connected!! Nice.....

Yes......51001 is the same boat that I had. Like I said, It was built with 540 ci 600 HP Innovations. I found the boat file and I have the orig build sheet, performance report, invoice and a lot of pictures. Does it have motors now? Is this thing for sale? Repo? What is up with the boat?

Please post pictures, especially running and rear view. I heard these boats were unreal in rough water.

You think that the seller would at least clean off all the engine oil blow by in the engine compartment, before posting the pictures!:lolhit:

Yes it is a "real / true" 51' Fountain. Yes, it is the very same boat Damon discussed.

It was purchased today and is now home at Lake Texoma. :drink:

51' lightning

There is one of these here in San Diego and it looks the same I thought it was the 51 my friend owns. I'll have to call him to ask if he sold it. He was telling me there was only 3 made and one went over seas and another with different graphics was for sale on the net but rumors were saying the third sank! Maybe there is 4 out there! I have one picture of the transom and see if i can post it when i upgrade my memebership.
