wter pressure gauge hose

Does any body know what kind of hose I need to by for my 2000 32 fountain with 502's from the engine to the guage. I have tried to blow out the line from both directions....but I have had no luck!!!!! I am planning on replacing the line but I forgot the notes I made at the lake house. I think it was about 3/8 O.D. (black hose)but I am not sure about the I.D.for the fittings.

Any help would be great I would like to pick it up this week before I go back to the lake.

I also posted in general tech.

My speedo is plumbed with a line similar to what you have mentioned but my water pressure guages are plumbed with a small dia clear plastic line. I am sure that it is available from Livorsi. I think I bought some from Home Depot when I had to replace mine last. I will see if I can read the size later today.

Re: wter pressure gauge hose

the proper hose is a -4 parker push lock or equivalent(1/4 " i.d)

try using a coat hanger or similiar stiff wire to free up the debri wich has hardened or compacted in the hose. more than likely about a foot or two away from the engine. use compressed air from the dash side using moderate pressure, while trying to break up the clog. should work.

good luck
