Mike, GPS was at 87 when new with 20 gallons fuel. Never got pic. 2 weeks after, the GPS broke, wire pulled out behind dash and I got around to it in Aug 05. Have not been dead empty to get 87 again, so 85 is about it with 80 gallons of fuel and 2 people on board. This next year I will run her down so I can get a pic. |
Re: Fountain pics
Nice number in that gauge pic there DT. That speed with one engine turning almost a grand, how fast do you think she will run if you start the other one ?

87 read my above post... :evilb:

I understand that my boat is not as big as most on this thread but I am more than happy to be in a Fountain. It is a 2000 27 Fever. It is hard to find a better built boat than a FOUNTAIN.

Re: Fountain pics
DT, awesome boat! If you come down to the Tampa FL area I'd love to shoot some photo's of her for you.

You really need one Ragged! Dave Now lets figure this: If I go 81.7 mph on your GPS; how many mphs would that be on my GPS, if I were to have a GPS ? I'll sharpen my pencil, you warm up your computer, then we'll compare answers. |

Well I finally got a pic of my new (to me) boat. Sorry for the quality but it was from my phone. It is a 99 42 Fountain with closed cooled 600 Innovations. Apparently one was dynoed at 635hp and the other at 638hp, alluminum heads, stainless marine big tube headers, TNT did the engine upgrades after Innovation built them and maintained by Dollar Offshore after that. Now it is up in Canada at Double R Performance getting ready for next season. Any thoughts of speeds?
The 35 was great but I was ready to get into bigger faster.....like all of us!!!!!! :evilb: Congrats to everyone and your great boats, they all look awesome..... :drink: Jay |
