I filled up the other day at our marina with premium at $3.84 a gallon - the lake has been slower this summer than I have seen it in 10 years - performance boats on the lake have been even more scarce than cheap gas.

Great boat, nice options.

My buddy did the same thing you did (go fast to cruiser) and listed the gf boat for sale with little response. The dealer put a wholesale number on the boat and that lowered his trade expectations by about 50K. He put it on OSO for the average of the two (the trade in price and his hopeful retail selling price) and sold the boat in a few days.

Moral of the story, he got his new boat and lost a little more than he wanted to on the old boat but got 100 hours of play time on the new boat this summer and hasn't looked back!

The performance market is very tight right now with 1200 boats on OSO alone, you have a great boat and a lot of competiton for a smaller pool of buyers.

Boat sales are slow and gas and insurance is high....insurance for a go-fast is out of hand.
