Engine Hatch Actuator Broke??

Engine hatch won't go up without me lifting while someone else pushes open button...comes down slow...what to do now?? Replace actuator?? thanks, whip :(

Yea sounds like the actuator is weak & probably needs replacing..

Have you tried wiring the actuator direct to make sure it is getting full voltage?
