That damn Beak

I had to fabricate my winch post to keep from hitting bow when launching. If I didn't have elec over hyd brakes, I could move post further forward.

Yep, I had to send my new trailer back for a Beak/Winch adjustment. :p

Myco didn't make provisions for that??!?! Did you buy a trailer that wasn't originally manufactured for that boat?

My Eagle does the same thing. The handle could hit the bottom side of the beak on step ramps. Good thing for the 2 speed winch that allows you to free wheel the handle back down, then reengage.

my handle would hit once in awhile on certain ramps........had all these plans to make a seperate bump stopper with a little vee pad for the boat and move the winch post back closer to the truck .......

In the end i went to the trailer place and simply bought a shorter handle.......problem solved!! :eureka: :D

Mine does the same thing. I get a kick out of how my triple axle trailer floats. I could unhook it from the truck roll it into the water and it floats.
