2000 47 Lightning

Give me the good and the bad on this boat. (3) 500EFI's fully loaded with A/C, genset, etc. Hows does it run/ride. I'm trying to get the wife away from our Formula 400SS. What $$$ range can I expect to buy at for a well taken care of 2000?

Have you checked out Driven1's 2005 47 with triple 525 efi's for sale? You might want to contact him and see what kind of deal you can work out.

I've looked at the pics. Love that paint scheme and cut down windshield. It's just out of my price range though. I was looking at the one at Lake Cumberland.

Steve, I do not know how much room Driven1 can give you on the price but you should at least ask. I ahve seen this boat and it really is like brand new...not a friggin mark. It will run full of fuel and 4 adults 90mph. Plus the 525's are closed cooling unlike the HP500's.

I sent him an email. Wild your not helping. I like the boat and the 525's. Don't shoot me but I was looking for an arch and gen.

Were you looking at this one? Same price as my boat and five years older. FeverMike has been on my boat and can attest how good the boat looks. The only reason I need to sell it is that I have 2 houses on the water for sale and the housing market does not look good.

It has a gen. You can buy the arch and ad it if you want one. They are bolted on. I may know someone that has one that they took off.

Haven't checked this site for a while but see someone has interest is purchasing a 47 Lightning. I have an extremely clean fresh water only 1999 with all the goodies including 525 SCs, extension boxes, blueprinted bottom, generator, heat and air, bimini with three sided enclosure sitting on an Eagle custom trailer that is close to mint condition. This boat needs a new home due to a career change on my part and is priced to sell at $169,000. Please email me at [email protected] if interested. These are great boats with all the ride, comfort and performance you would ever need.

Bored with it. I want something that makes me want to take it out by myself or just go for a quick spin with a buddy you know. The 400 is a great boat for my wife and 3month old son, but it's about me! :D I just dont ever want to run down to the dock, drop the lift and go for a spin. I need something that has a tall cabin, A/C, genset, pump out head and can do 80+ reliably. I went on the KW Poker Run and now I'm on a 43 Nortech kick so we'll see. Love the fit and finish in that boat.
