Market Price

Would like to know what would be a fair market price on a 2005 42' Excecutioner with no power, no drives, and no exhaust. Everything else is intact and is on a trailer. Don't know make of trailer but I'm sure it is a tri axel. More than likely a Manning or Mayco.

Only 35 hours on hull, 2 covers, and all the full amenities that Fountain had on the 2005 42's. Thinking of purchasing boat and having it re rigged if price is right.

From looking in the classifieds a 2005 42' Excecutioner with staggard 525's are in the 185,000 to 215,000 range. So I'm assuming that the derigged 2005 would have too be in the 75,000 to 100,000 dollar range to make it worth my while.

Thanks for any helpful imput.

If you can pick that puppy up for $75k you would be in good shape. Figure the 525s with transom assemblies and drives at $45k each, $6K for tail pipes (525s come with headers), $5 k for misc and another $3 k for labor should bring you in done at $179K - if the boat is truly mint and the rest of it is all there, then it looks like you would come in just fine.

Going on Saturday to look at the 42 Executioner. Keeping my fingers crossed that it's in good shape. No reason that it shouldn't but ONE never knows.

Saw boat today, It's in very GOOD condition, trailer like new and everything is great shape. Just a couple of places that need a little rubbing.

Boat was stripped of power and drives because when the owner bought boat from Shogren's he was going to put big power and better drives on. In the mean time the owner has back problems and had to 86 the job. There was a little more missing than expected. When Shogrens derigged the boat I guess in their opinion the external steering was part of the drive train. Also trim pumps and lines we're taken for the drives. I don't plan on those few additional items missing will kill the deal. I'm in the process of dealing now. Boat is owned by a friend of a friend and I feel good about the deal.

Steering is another4 grand plus trim pumps and lines for another 2 grand. You are still in really good shape. Good luck and let us know how it works out.
