Best drive set up
 

As you might have seen I'm in the process of purchasing a 2005 42' Executiioner. I will be rigging the boat with new motors and drives. My question is with a staggard installation would it be a good idea to install Stand Off Boxes, ITS XR Drives with Sport master lowers, or just put Xr's Imco's, or Max drives in the standard locations on the Transom. Looking for best drive combinations.

From what I've seen Fountain doesnt put ITS on the 42's. I would set the boat up how the factory would depending on what power you are going to run.

great question - I would call fountain on that one - The new 38s are available with the ITS so I cant see why it couldnt be done on a 42 - what you will need to know also is how will that effect the x demension and will you need to go with a short or standard lower gear cases - going stock is definately the easiest route with a guarrenteed outcome - how is the negotiation going? - are you close?

the 42 poker run addction comes with its and short speed masters. as does the new 38 so i'mshure if you want it you can get it . :drink:
