What did they do to correct the listing problem? My 05 35x used to list to the port also. I used to keep the anchor and tool box on the stbd. side, water tank almost empty and still had to run the port tab down all the time.

Re: Rub Rail not centered

The listing problem is most likely water getting up past the engine box bulkhead up under the tank area and not draining back out cause of all the saw dust, fiberglass coreouts, carpet scraps, tank foam and other chit clogging up the 1" drain line on that side.
Get the bow as high as you can and use some fish tape to see if its clogged.

All I wanted from Fountain was a piece of rub rail and that would of taken care of the situation. I will still have it fixed then I will be able to consider my Fountain a one of a kind.

If all you want is Rub rail Let me know you hull ID # and I will have fountain send you watt you want..
Done!

The center trim piece is avalable from Pachangala on the board

The Hustler is faster being the Whippled 500's. The Cig is plenty fast though at 92.9 mph.

Are the whipples dependable? Any drive issues? How much MPH gain? Did you have to re prop? EFI?

Re: Rub Rail not centered

The whipples are very dependable with the efi's. The first year we had it, it was just a turn key. We bought the boat with all the work done to it. It was done by Bob Teague on the west coast. He said the boat ran 100 when new. We have seen 95, but we have just rebuilt the motors and haven't gotten any real numbers yet. The stock 500 boats ran 83-85 mph so it picked up 15mph. The drives were switched to 1:36 ratio to accomodate the power. We are running 30" 4 blades.
