Diamond plate engine comp.
 
Any body ever do there engine comp floors in alum diamond plate, I'm thinkin of it ,easer to stand and work on. Any body got any pic's with this done to boat .Anything would be a help. THANKS JOHN

no....i just really have a passion for restoring these old boats........Kind of a dure it yourselfer.......It is amazing what you can due when ya love what you are duing............

No Cig and B4M - is your diamond plate removable so you could clean behind it or retrive something you dropped etc...???

yes mine is,,,,i put a two way foam tape on the back and used stainless screws in other areas...........Mine covers my fuel tanks and most of my rigging .....You have to make sure you get a good fit and secure it properly because it will rattle

foam tape.....good idea........dia plate is something I always wanted to do.......do you waterproof the screw holes somehow?

just a dab of silicone on the scews................A local sheetmetal shop can due all the bending for ya......Try to break the sheets as much as possible.......with gaps or trying to butt the sheets together looks like crap......Looks a lot better if it is bent or rolled, most shops have a ten foot break so long pieces should not be a problem

Yes, I have (8) 1/4 lock screws holding it down.
