Rub rail question..

Looking to replace the part that covers the rubrails where they meet in the transom. It says "Fountain" on it. Fountain no longer offers this as a part. Is there anyone on the board that could make something similiar? Any ideas?

You could fab it out of a small piece of stainless.

Does this mean they will quit carrying all parts for older boats?

Im not sure about that. Robert in parts told me they changed the insert and no longer have it available. I would really like to use something out of stainless like Fevermike said, but im not that creative. I thought a board member was once making them?

Contact Todd. aka Pachangalpina. He was making them, powdercoating them, then lazering the Fountain name in. So much better than the stick on lettering from the factory. Mine still looks like brand new, 2-3 yrs old. I think they were around $10-15 then.
