27 fever props.
 

What props are you 27 guys running? Ive got mine (26p) off right now and thinking i might be able to squeeze some more out of it with a lab job. Any experience?

What motor? And what speeds did you see with the 26 at what rpm?

HO and 70.5ish speedo at near +/-4950rpm.....best I can recall. A little sluggish outa the whole. Supposed to be 68 and change GPS. Im probably about as good as can get, but I would like to CMI the boat before summer and if I can keep the same prop but lab it differently it would save some $$$. What prop do you run on the 29?

I guess a labbed 28 is good for 4mph with the headers.

Lab that prop and get more RPM, for comparison I have 500efi 5300rpm w/ 25 hydro gps 73-75 depending on load and conditions, I am actually labbing a 26 hydro now to see what I can get

I have 2 props. A 26" for rough water and summertime. That will top the boat out at 75 no matter what. Full fuel etc...I have a 28" I run for cooler weather or if I want to cruise longer distances. The fastest I've seen on the GPS was a shade over 80. When I get the money pit back out on the water, I will be looking at a Hydromotive or a Throttle up CNC 4 blade for top speed. Do your engine mods first, then play with the props. I suggest getting with Throttle up, they have a test program. I'm told Hydros work well with Fountain hulls. Hole shot on these boats suck. I'm told a Hydro 5 blade will help on that aspect. Always have at least 2 props though.
