Hey mike dont worry about the foot deal, I'm sure Wyatt will recover. That is a beautiful fish boat you got there. I took a picture of it over to my fish tank and my oscar hid behind the rocks. (that picture will keep him up nights). Its good you finally found an HP boat that fits you

The answer is yes - with an official 1 way pass at better than 177 with APBA and SBI present at the event, Outerlimits slinked away before dawn claiming they had engine problems. The price of Outerlimits is off the laugh meter and they cant keep up. And the quality isnt any better for the money.

yada yada yada.

Are you going to buy one?

I really like the new interiors. The old is....... old.

Every boat maker is really getting away from the standard plain Jane look and getting the high tech look. Problem is, when I can afford the new look, it'll be old stuff.

Totally wrong. Get back to the main topic of this thread. The 35 with 496's seem to be a great package. Running 90+ with that little of power is a great accomplishment.

Mike,

Sorry we didn't see you at the show. The 35 is calling your name! 93mph with 496's is impressive. Sell that CC and get back into performance boating. I bet the insurance isn't too bad 496's either. Can you buy one from your local dealer for $210K?

Hey Lucky Jr, my wife was asking if you all were going to the show. I did not run into any OSO people this year. This year was a quick walk through for me as business is way too busy and I only had Friday to play hooky at the show for 4 or so hours. Actually I really fell in love with the 38 Top Gun hiding in the back of the Cigarette booth. What a nice paint job, rigging and so forth. It was by far the best looking boat in the Cig booth and they had it hiding in the back!

The one thing I like about my fish boat is it rides in rough water really nice and the outboards are easy to deal with. I still like to go out and drop for Grouper a few times a year too. I/O's scare me somewhat since I do not trailer or have a truck to even pull the boat somewhere for service.

No those are 275's. 300 opti's were not out yet and the 300 Verado's will be out this summer. the boat does 72-73 WOT and will run 50-60 in big water. It has a 125 gallon fuel tank up front and a 300 gallon tank in the back. It get great milage at 1.4mpg at a 45-50 mph cruise.

Hey FeverMike, did the top of your knees hit the bottom of the dash? I have a staggered 38 on order and I have requested them move the seat back an inch or so. I am 6'2" and my knees hit. I had the same problem with my 29 and Reggie had the seats moved back two inches on that boat. Roger
