speaker placement

I have a '97 27' fever and I want to add speakers. I need some sound up high so I am thinking of mounting 2 6&1/2" facing each other between the glove box and helm station. They shouldn't effect the cabin door. Opinions please.

Use co-axials and try to get them at ear level if possible or as close to ear level as you can.

Using co-axials and the more I think about it I'm leaning on putting them in the side panels behind the driver and passenger.

Here are some pics of my 32...I used JL Audio marine speakers. 2 sets of 7.7" separates and 3 10" subs. I kept the stock bolster area speaker locations and installed mb Quartz 6.5" coax. I also moved the 6.5" from the rear seat base and installed them into the rear side compartment doors....they still open for storage access. I am running soundsteam amps 2 four channel and one class A for the subs. I will look for some more pics..but here are 2 locations I cut for the 7.7" separates

Thanks. I had to make the black trim ring because the Fountain Logo left a black ring on the vinyl that would not come off not matter what I tried. So made it the same size. I can reinstall the Fountain logo if I choose later. Actually the ring is just 3/8" clear acrylic with a black vinyl that is used for graphics/lettering stuck on the back side. I turned a step in the ring to make the speaker flush with the front. I toyed around with the idea of having the ring light up with LED lights. :drink: But wouldn't look good with the black background.
