New 2007 Fountains
 

I got a call from Joe Malich (owner of Powerboats NW in Washington) yesterday. I met him at the LA boat show where he was offering up a smoking deal on a new 35 lightning.

He will be in town next weekend (with new 35 and 38 Lightnings in tow) and scheduled me in for a run in either boat. He did this despite the fact that he knows I am not (currently) in a position to pull the trigger on a new boat.

Joe, if you catch this, I want to say thank you. I appreciate the thought and am looking forward to it.

I bought my 35' Nordic from Joe, and he sold my 28' Nordic for me. He is a very nice guy, and one of the few in the industry I would trust.
The reason I bought my 35' from him , and not the dealer I bought my 28" from was the way he treated my daughter and I at a poker run, when we were there enjoying the day, with no plans for a new boat in our future.
I will buy my next boat from Joe as well.
