My last boat was a 05 35 EX that i bought new for $152,000 including a triple axle load-rite. Also had stereo upgrade,pop-up cleats, swim ladder and the transom painted black at the factory. This deal was from the former Fountain dealer in Virginia. I dont think you'll get a deal like that from the new dealer in Virginia. From what i read here on OSO Shogren is supposed to be great to deal with on a Fountain. Never read anything bad about them at all. I sold the boat last summer for $125,000 with EMI manifolds and risers,custom cowlings engine bling, full cover and 5 blade labbed maximus props. 104 hrs.

We have two nice clean "Freshwater "35X's available. I am sure all that are for sale out there are priced fairly. You will be hard pressed to find new ones at dealers with the pricing you have seen in the past due to pricing and program changes. Here are two to view"

I bought my 05 in Aug of 05..(really a leftover,the
dealer had it in 04) for 141500. Has shore power,
dock lights,fridge,upgraded stereo,full cover.Trailer
was extra. Oh yea...has all the usual Fountain
fit & finish problems also.

I looked at your boat before I bought mine. It was
a 04 leftover. I loved the paint. I just couldn't
get used to the orange cockpit. As I remember
they hung onto that boat for a long time. I
think it probably was the added expense of
the Richie Rich paint job. Looks great,but it kinda
put the boat out of the EX buyers price range.

I also agree. Get a quote for the new buyer and let him rebuild a new interior. The paint is awesome. There was just a post of a Fountain guy here that had a nice job with his new guts.
