Engine compartment Bulkhead

Has anyone ever seen a engine compartment bulkhead wood break, I was noticing my starboard trim pumps loose and it looks like the wood behind the glass may have broken and there is a buckle in the glass.

Saw this on an 05 35x. You use it in real rough water?

Maybe before I bought it, it came from NC I only use it in freshwater lakes

i had the same thing.i took the nuts off and used big fender washers and they tightened up and stayed tight you will want a hand with this it's kinda tuff to get to the nuts.

happened to me once when going down into a big wave ( boat was a a little on the side)from a little jump just before.

Man I thought the boat would break in half! ended up with a cracked bulkhead... Cut it out and did a new one...
