29 Fever Hull Differences
Hey everybody, I am looking for some input on the effeciency and handling differences between three versions of the 29 Fever. The examples I would like to compare are 1994, 1996 and 1998. Consider all three to have equal single power, say HP500, full hydraulic steering and a standard bravo drive. What top speed differences would you expect? Also wondering about stability and handeling traits of the different hulls as well as any noticable fuel effeciency differences. Thanks for your input!

As far as I know Fountain didn't start offering singles in the 29 until '96 and you don't see many of those. Most of the single engine boats out there are '98 and newer. If I remember right they made some changes for the '97 model and it was noticably faster than the '96.

Hey Dykstra, how's yours run with the 525? Do you know if your 1997 hull below the deck is the same as a 1996 hull? The step looks a lot larger on the 1998 models.
Runs great , but it just has a single step. |
