Fuel filler neck dimensions

Does anyone know what size the fuel filler neck on a 95 35 Lighting, it looks really hard to get to the nuts below deck I wanted to order new anodized ones. It looks like they come in 1 1/2 or 2"

I can't speak for your boat but my 04 38 has 1-1/2" filler neck size. I was able to twist my arm in under the deck and hold the nuts while some one else twisted the phillip screws up on top. I did not have to remove the side panels but I could see where it might be required.

Hope that helps.

imjust changed the one in my 27 and it was 1 1/2 .i got one from dana marine plus the beezel.no problem getting to the nuts, but the filler was caulked with 5200,and it was a ***** to remove.i finnaly used merc combustion cleaner to desolve the caulk from behind, and knocked it through.i also changed the fuel-vent too.only problem there was the hull thickness.so i improviced and worked it out.hope this helps.
