42 Fountain Gas tanks?
I have a 91 triple 42. It has 4 spots to fill up the side tanks and 2 saddle tanks. It has 2 fuel sendors under the rear bench. The 4 years I have owned the boat I have never filled up the back tanks nor the saddle tanks. No need to since I boat on a small lake.
If you have not seen my Ethanol thread in the genral disscusion area I have bad gas. My question is this. Are the front tanks gravity feed to the rear tanks? "not the saddle tanks" I pulled both sendors under the bench and both were full. Thanks, Tom |
ther should be a set of levers or rods on the rear fire wall to switch from saddle to main tanks. stainless steel with little round balls on the ends. usually red and black ones.
you may have been running off the saddle tanks this whole time. you should see them while looking down in front of the engines on the fire wall. good luck |

ther should be a diverter vslve of sorts like the ones for the saddle tanks. this is an uncommon set up for a consumer boat. you sure it has 6 tanks?
if it does typicly the siphon from one to the next |
