I can bump it up if you need a tow in! :D

the 1 36 is supposed to be a stronger gear set.
plus i believe in the theory of prop speed, as better to turn a smaller prop faster if you can so i say 1 36 |
We ran a 2000 35 Lightning. 540's and Whipples. With 1.5 ran out of prop was running 36 Bravo's didnt like the way the boat handled. Too much stern lift. Ran Hydromotive Q4 and 5 Blades. Wasnt happy. Went to 1.36 ended up running 29 Hydro Q4 at 6000 rpm. If you are running a rev limiter you may also run out of prop unless you bump it up to 56-6000 rpm with 1.5 gears. Some of the new 5 blades could be the ticket, Maximus or Hydromotive has also improved theirs. Talk to Brett at BBlades, or Matt, or Julie at Throttle UP. Good Luck.
