Any saggy seats out there?
 

I've been noticing my seat (on the boat) has begun to droop down slowly when in the up position. Passenger's seat has been doing this for a couple of years....not real worried about passengers. Is there some type of check valve in the hydraulic pump or could the seat cylinder seals be leaking past ? Surly I can't be the only one wih saggy seats !!:D

The frame is bending.

Look under the seat where the hydraulic ram attaches. There's a mechanism in there that tends to bend the attachment points at the seat frame. Also, the top of the seat frame bends where the hydraulic ram attaches, and the tabs where the seat bottom attaches to the frame bend also.

I had mine completely apart and welded in reinforcements 2 years ago. Royal PITA.

The very front of my stand up bolster cushion...the part the hangs lowest when the bolster is down is slowly sagging and pulling the staples that attach it to the rest of the drop down. Anybody have this issue and quick fix?

Don't know 4 a fact but I will bet Drag'n ass on here has his sag'n from his Big AZZZZZZZ!:evilb:

Maybe I need to rephrase, the seat when in the up position begins to go down without touching the down button. Its like the pump is letting the fluid go back to the resevoir or its bleeding past the piston in the cyl. Rather than taking both apart, thought if anyones gone through this before.:drink:

That used to sag on me approx once yr. I just cycled the seat up and down a few times and it was good. I figured the valves were a bit dirty. Sounds like either they are really dirty or the piston seals are heading south.

I also made the same reinforcements as Sleeper dave on my new boat 2 yrs ago. Same situations and repair methods. Now the seat bottoms come all the way up tight and are strong enough to lift the boat off the trailer without bending. :)

I have this same problem with my passenger seat. Really not a big deal but I'm looking for a solution also. It must be a check valve or a seal in the pump.
