You have to see the platinum windshield in person I think to appreciate how well it looks on the boat and how well it ties in with the platinum paint on the back of the boat. It comes off really nice looking I think the white race fairing may dull it a little actually.
My paint was $7,200 but many variables factor into the cost. I started off with telling Mitch I had a budget of $2,500 for the paint. He drew me a concept and I was happy with the $3,500 version. Then he offered up some of his ideas to my vision and was much more happy with it, then we added some more. I felt that I was definitely adding the value to the boat with this work, and felt it was worth it for my enjoyment and the boat value. I guess the range of cost for his work is between $3,500 to $60,000. Check out www.mitchertcustompainting.com he's a great guy to work with and very straight forward.
