Individual or Dealer Sale
Which do you guys suggest? Am i better off finding a deal with a owner, or buy from a boat broker???
|
what kind of boat r u looking for?
|
hmmmm..some one thats going to lie and try and hide flaws or some one else thats going to lie, hide flaws and blame you for buying a used boat...
|
My 42 is for sale. Search all deals and then make your choice. I'll show you any flaws. Freshwater 1-owner.
The original owner of my 1993 35 bought it back from me after 8yrs. And he bought it new. Call me if you want to talk...Dave 414-254-0733 |

Looking for a 38' lightning turn key, with air conditioning. Will consider 35 or 42

In Louisiana if you buy from an individiual you don't pay sales tax, if you buy from a dealer you do. That should make your mind up right there unless you don't mind wasting $9000. Some dealers will work with you on that but most won't.
Instead of narrowing the field to the handful of boats out there with factory AC just find the boat you like and add it aftermarket. A whole lot more 35s and 38s to chose from without AC than with. Probably come out cheaper in the long run anyway instead of paying the premium for the one 38 you might find with AC. |
Thanks, Jmeng
I am right down the road from you. I have a crew that has been working in BR for the last 3 years. What kind of work do you do? After I buy, i hope to see you on the water. |
Matthew Smith of Performance Boat Brokerage has a 2004 38 Lightning with 110 hrs & 525EFI.

I saw that one, but paint shceme is too loud. I am looking for a boat that is white in color, with no so loud graphics.
