crack in cooler
 

have a 2 in crack on the edge of my cooler incert called fountain they said it was 300$$$$$$$$ wowww. has anyone found on epoxy that will repair cracks before they break:mad:

unscrew the the cover over the cooler disconnect the drain and pull the cooler out.no brainer grind the foam in the areas that are cracked and fiberglass from the rear.after thats done put the cooler back together and take a piece of rigid foam and place it under all four corners.this makes it rigid from bounce.how ever after I did it i purchased a softside cooler and leave it on the floor in the cockpit.no banging your head looking for a beer.

I completely wasted mine, therefore thanks to someone else here sending me pics of their setup, I put in an Igloo 25qt cooler. And I mean this thing is IN there. Way over-engineered!!!

glassed in the top 5 inches of the lip worked out great am going to re install the cooler today thanks for the tip
