I switched out the panels. That was a during construction pic. The problem is that the hub does not fit. It wont set any closer to the bolts than that.

I thought that was normal? Seems like I remember someone (US1 maybe?) making a "filler" piece to fill the gap.

you can buy a helm spacer for the back of the dash to solve that small issue.

Thats normal my 35 is the same way and so was my 29. usa-1 built something for his. If someone could make one I would like one also.

I was thinking about installing an 08 dash plate in place of my 06. The newer dashes have allowed for a dash mounted GPS
and or Smart Craft dispaly. Obviously the tachs and speedo have been relocated as well as the toggle swithces. Livorsi sells the dash plates for about 450.00 already painted. Their will be a lot of guage and switch R and R, but it would be a nice update. |

Just buy the short hub, looks way better and you will have plenty of room for your beer belly!
