Full Stagger
When did Fountain start producing the "Full Stagger"?
|
1991 was the first year on the 42 lightning. Although very rare. Most 42s were side by side or triples.

Never have been in any other 38 Fountains to compare. The biggest differnce in the 06 38 w/600's and the 07 38 w/700's is the 20 mph faster the 700 boat is on the top end. Then someone please explain what this post is saying.....Stagger vs. Full Stagger????? Is this only applicable to the 38? |

I believe the 2007 model 38 Lightning was the first "full stagger 38". The drive centerlines are only about 18" apart. The previous "less than full" staggered 38's were around 24 or so inches apart, Maybe!!!???
I do know having ridden in a non staggered 38 EX with 750hp blower motors, my 2007 38 Lightning w/ 525's bone stock has the same WOT at Tahoe, 80mph. Staggered is a good thing! John |

John in Dallas and one in Austin. Not much wiggle room on price What a sweet ride. I am just having a hard time warming up to a fat insurance premium. I pay a litttle/lot more than you because we live on the Gulf Coast. |
