Bottom of 29 fevers

I took a straight edge and placed it on the bottom near where it rests on the big bunks and I noticed that it is not flat. At the transom there is a 3/8 to 1/2 gap. It starts about 3 feet ahead of the transom. Are all 29s this way?

My 2000 29 was pretty flat with no hook or rocker. Make sure the boat sits on the bunks correctly.

The transom of my boat sits on the bunks but there's a slight gap near the front of the bunks. I think it may be a little bit of rocker. I'm going to adjust the bunks a little to put more even pressure along the length of the hull before I store it for the winter. If there is rocker there from sitting on the trailer the wrong way, hopefully it can be corrected over time by sitting on the trailer the right way.

I kept my 29 Fever at a high and dry marina and I built 2 risers that fit over the end of each bunk and raise the transom up around 1.5". the marina made sure the edge of the transom on the boat passed over these so that the bunks went out passed the transom. This way the boat was supported properly and all the weight was not on the edge of the step nor on the hull in front of the edge of the transom.

In the Fountain VHS/DVD that comes with each boat Reggie goes over properly supporting a hull on bunks and emphasises this a few times so that the hull does not form a hook.
