trade 353 formula for 47 lighting???'s
 

I currentlt have a 353 fastech and my wife is not happy with the cabin, she would like a cruiser! I can not bring myself to buy a crusier yet as i like the speed and looks of our go fast boat!! I live in minnesota and see several 42 lightings but no 47's is the 47 that much bigger than a 42 that people don't buy them???

The 42' has the best ride and is much easier too handle. The 47' is heavy and slow to trun. Your wife will love the cabin in both.

You would not be disappointed in the ride and handling of the 47. Handles like a sports car and has the length to flatten the choppest water.

If your wife wants a cruiser, the Fountain 47 Sport Cruiser is like a lightning but has 6'3" cabin headroom as opposed to 5'6". It is not quite as fast as the lightning with equal power but has the same bottom and hull. The freeboard is also slightly higher in the cockpit as well and they handle big water GREAT! The only problem is they are a discontinued model in favor of the 48 express cruiser which has a 12' beam and can't be towed
