Offshoreonly.com - Maybe some Fountain Fever Name History...

Had a fellow employee in my office(Larry)..Actually a corporate IT guy doing some computer upgrades. I've know him but just when there's a problem. Anyway he got to my PC and noticed my 35 Baja on my desktop and complimented etc... "said I used to boat. Oh yea what did you have. a couple Fountain 10X's and a 12X and some other smaller boats."
So there it started. He said he was friends with Reggie. I was like ...Cool. Time frame was late 80's to mid 90's.
He said he would ride with Reggie to test some of the new boats and Reggie let him take a few boats out on his own. He also said Reggie took his boat out a few times for a ladies day out:cool-smiley-011:
Now for some history. Larry said he named one of his boats Fountian Fever. He said Reggie hated it at first and no one will ever buy it with that name. Well a guy did and somehow Reggie was there for the transaction. My coworker said Reggie changed his mind(liked it now) and created the Fountain Fever line.
I thought this was pretty neat. We talked for about 30mins. He mentioned some other items he requested Reggie todo back then and is still in place today.
This guy is pretty high on the corp ladder so respsected no BS kinda guy.
I tod hm to email me some pics of waht he had. MAy take a week or so. He is traveling in the state of FL.
