Wait a minute, Reggie did WHAT?!
Must be some kind of mistake here. I've browsed over this boat the last few times it was on Ebay. I never noticed the part where Reggie set a world speed record with it........?:cool-smiley-011:
Must have had some monster power.......... Putting speed claims aside, in my neck of the woods that would be a huge attention getter. May not even be able to maneuver it into most of the restaurants without a bow thruster. The swim deck is a big as my boat:D http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/51-Fo...em320221191659 |
doesnt look very clean imo. just look at the engine compartment. that sun pad is massive though, i could fit ATLEAST 14 women on it, maybe more.

The back of that think does not look right. IMO its a hack job from some shop. All they did was add a bunch of transom. Engines etc seem to be in same spot. Look at the pic that shows the k-planes......fugly. Looks more like a stretch 42 than a stretch 47.
|
if it was rf's personal boat, you kinda think it would have mercs in it, no? whats that big thing that hangs in the wanter off the transom that covers the props?
|
one of the three built was in valet storage at dick simon marine in dana point. the boats name was fly paper and it was bad azz. the rooster tail the buzzi drives put up was so huge. he was in a scope poker run with us and just killed every other boat to catalina. the boats are no joke! real fountain! OVER.
|
Did'nt a board member own this boat last year? I seem to remember him posting on here and talking about the monster power he was putting in it?
|
I am pretty sure it came from Fountain, I remember one around summer2000 in OH, with the V drives, Suppose to be very fast and such but its all sundeck and hatch. Very rare boat.

I have a 47 lightning which is a great running boat. I can't imagine those drives and extended platform improve much. There are a bunch of 47 Lightnings for sale at good prices in much better condition. What is rare is the 47 Sport Cruiser. In my opinion it is the best offshore boat overall

I saw the boat about 3 months ago it need alot of TLC.:cool-smiley-011:

yea, this link posted by Sea dated is the flypaper boat from socal. we had some big time boats in the water that day and she killed us all. i remember it going back to fountain for repairs twice. another post said flexing and that's what i remember. the one on ebay looks odd. flypaper only had 3x500 hp so the ticket was the buzzi drives, crazy fast! |
I remember looking at one of these when they were new at the Annapolis boat show. Huge.

Looks like a repo. Very dirty check the bilge pictures
