77 on GPS wasn't a proplem
Hey Guy's,
I finally got my boat in after I bought it off a guy 1400.00 miles away . I Wired him the money on his word,,did Uship .com for the shippinig and have looked at the boat for 2 weeks and just now finally got it in the water..Whew..What a relief ! :ernaehrung004: Eveything seemed cool from the get go .We launched in freshwater here at Lake Elsinore and it was 3 foot storm chop like I have never seen there. Warmed up the oil and made 2 passes down the speed trap..the first a warm up and the second was a little more loose. With a full tank..(The boat holds 108 Gallons), rough sees and a 300 lb navigator we ran a 77 On the GPS without much effort. The boat was geting too out of shape without triming out all the way because of the swells ,,but it definatly has potencial. I am so stoked ..the boat was everything the guy said it was..I'm just lucky I guess. I guess people that don't screw people are lucky like that.. Anyway I may need a better prop ..My stern driver 25 is beat up. The tach said about 5,000 RPMS (at 77) ..But the speedo was reading 60 so I gues the tach may not be right either.. It sure was fun though:D:Dhttp://members.cox.net/mcprodesign/IMG_1319a.JPG |
