Fastoys- There is a 39 unlimited sitting next to mine in the shop for some repairs. Dig deep enough and even Cigarette has there issues. Get behind a dash or start pulling interior panels off and start digging around in the gunwals. None of these boats are perfect. If you think Cigarettes are superior you are just playing headgames with yourself. Take a look at some of the Top guns that came out of the factory in the mid to late 90's- They are junk. For someone that dosen't particularly like Fountains you sure spend enough time in our forum.

Talking fountain and Baja

Having the only Fountain and baja dealer in the country I am wondering how this will effect business. They both use a different tape measure when advertising length. The 35 baja is huge compared to the 35 lightning and even bigger then a 38 lightning. The 30 baja is half the price as the new 33 lightning and is way bigger. Now that they will come from the same plant will they use the same tape measure? Can I order a 42 lightning with the 40 outlaw swim platform? They do have great swim platforms. In all honesty I believe it was a good move on both ends if the prices are not effected.

Bobby don't forget the Top gun that delaminated on Lake Erie on the first leg of the poker run when I first met you. We were riding with RHC in the Apache. It was a VERY rough day and i got a whole new respect for Apache.

That was the first time that I had ever seen a boat delaminate and I saw that it could happen to the best of them.

Guys it's simple, the cardinal rule of businesses boils down to two ideologies. (1) If you are not growing you are dieing and (2) nothing ventured nothing gained!
