32 fever storage?

why didnt fountain open up the seat in the cuddy, in the u shaped seating for storage underneath? they could have @ least opened one side up. it sounds hollow could have put more than the bair min. in the boat, hell i can barely store more than a few life jackets and and throw devises. also in the v-berth when i lift up the pad there is a small compartment with a hole, is that for anchor stoage? i keep oil and lube in there fig. if it leaks it will be eaiser to clean up, were does the hole go? could swear i can see insulation through it.

There is only about 8" to 2" of depth of space under the seating, plus a stringer right down the center of that space. I have 3 large compartments under the bed. They have drain holes that just empty into the hull for draining.

Were is your third compartment? I have only 2 under the mat where the bed starts? Im thinking of adding an access cover to the front area close to the mirror.

Under the bed I have two across a d one real close to the seating in the center

I also have 3 holes under the bed pad. one large one in the middle for anchor storage and 2 smaller ones to the sides. I keep extra bags of ice in them when i have a lot of ppl.

I only got 2?

US1 Fountain 07-20-2012 05:04 PM

Must have been a addition with new model yr. Appearantly between 96 & 99 somewhere.

glen george 07-21-2012 10:14 PM

Any pictures of the 3rd hole under the bed. I would be interested in the measurements also to modify my 96.

I now have additional storage.

Could you have located them further back to have more depth?

The center compartment in mine is huge, and deep. Large enough I considered locating the AC in it.

The 2 side compartments are a good size too. Store all my life jackets in there.

Yes, but im really working on my center of gravity, I plan to put 50 -75 lb sand bag in each.

Glen George we saw you on oneida lake lake last weekend. we were in the BLUE 32 drifting in front of 3 mile.. its a custom built Fountain with the highest beak in the water. Our cockpit has been relocated 14 inches back from factory making our rear sit real low while the beak is in the sky. Its our second time out with it and will more than likley see you again on the water

Very nice boat I thought you had T-572 with 1050 blowers under the hatch.

Blue you get this boat from out west? Was this member 2112's old boat? Think you have one of the most sorted out and solid 32's out there if so

BLUEMAGIC 08-02-2012 04:09 PM

It absolutley was, doing buisness with Mike has been a pleasure and we could not be happier with the boat. Mike reinforced the entire boat and moved the cockpit backwards roughly 14 inches making it really sleek with and extra long beak. Drew Marine built the previous powerplants and calls it INDESTRUCTABLE and probably the best built Fountain out there. It truley is a "ONE OF A KIND FEVER".

I saw you out there as well, boat almost looks black from a distance. I passed by you moored in front of the islands before you came to 3 mile. I'm in a 38ft with blue and yellow checkers on the front, and blue fade in the rear.

That is a great looking boat, we were all looking and wondering what the hell it was :) The name of that boat would bring me bad karma for sure!

Wildman_grafix 08-13-2012 07:08 PM

So post some pics!

Do you have any engine room left?

BLUEMAGIC 08-14-2012 06:14 AM

4bus, I was up in the bay bumped up to you in boaters beach a few weekends ago with Lenny. Casey, Danny and a few others were bumped up aswell. I was unable to bring up the REAL SMOKE due to late arrival of smaller air bleeds. Yes the dimentions of the engine bay are factory. The cockpit was all moved tight to the rear bench seat. From a distance one could be fooled thinking the the driver is sitting in the rear bench seat with no bolster. We have the cockpit of a corvette. Definitley gives it a distinct look. Will upload pictures soon
