Long Island Fun Run,,,,,,,
 

trying to plan a fun run out of our marina this summer. looking to see what may be a good date for it. any help with dates would be appreciated as to try and avoid scheduling on the same day as another event. race, poker run, etc,,,, .

the goal is to have an entry fee but not for the sake of winning a prize but rather the the moneys will go to a childrens charity and the other part of it will be to bring a toy for the toys for tots foundation.

the run essentially will leave our marina in hampton bays, out schinecock inlet, east for about a 35 mile trek. around montauk point. in thru the forks past the montauk canal and over to claudios for lunch. then a nice blast from claudios thru the locks on the schinecock canal and back to Mariners Cove for maybe a small water front barbeque with some music and maybe a raffle and some music.

we will be trying to alocate lodging in the area for those who wish to make it a nice weekend. and we will be making room for trailer and truck parking.

and ideas or help with dates again would be of great help.
