the way i figure it, the time/the cost/the fun-enjoyment equation is upside down. last yr. I averaged $1200/mo. in gas alone. At some point you have to say, enough. I guess I'm there. Maybe time to put that money into an IRA. Or even better, invest in oil commodity speculation. I love the boat. hate to see it go.

Yea I met him and checked out the boat. It was a clean package to say the least. If the engines are sound it sounds like a steal.

I installed a pair on a customers boat and it picked up about 2-3 mph and cost about 9000.00 because we upgraded the assemblies to XR shafts and gears. In my opinion its not worth the cost for 3 mph but if you could find some used ones for a good deal go for it.
