Yes, the plugs can be a *****. I have to become a contortionist each time I have to do it. I have not had a chance to check out the top speed with a GPS/Radar gun, but I’m guessing that it’s around 81 mph. This is based on engine RPM/Gear Ratio/Prop Size & slippage calculation. I could probably get more out of ProChargers, but I’m only running a conservative 3.5 lbs of boost. I also hope to get a little more out of it when I’m done dialing in the carbs.

I am in the process of having a trailer made for this 2000 47' Then I will have it home. Then its off to the Painter for a make over and then I will drop in 3 new engines. Hopefully done by spring.

Yep thats all she needs, Engines, Drives and some paint, I am thinking the new HP525's , But yikes that is times 3. I have two IMCO Extreme SC's and will get another one for it. I am also concidering the KE675's but buget may not allow.

Some other rigging Items like sea strainers, Pre-oilers ect. I also want to paint the bilge to smooth out the glass a little. Maybe some graphics in there too.

Also I am having Manning build a goose neck trailer for it than I will go and pick it up. After that I will have a better idea of what I am going to do. I will post a "project" post here as I get started.

105mph_38_2003: Thats not my Ford! Mine is a F350 V10 Dually. That is just a yard truck, My setup will be with a goose neck hitch (5th wheel style). Yes this boat is Very Long it seems twice as long as my PQ, With the beak the nose seems to go on forever as it dips down at the end. They all get smaller in the water though!

He is about 30min south of Manning marine,
and does beautiful work. He is on the
board if you aren't already aware of it.

He has alot of photo's posted, does contract
work for Sunsation, etc.
I have seen his work, and it has some serious
depth to it.

Yes I have allready contacted Mitch and he is in the process of putting together some Ideas. He comes highly reccomended. Here are a couple of picts of things I have seen. One is a stock paint job the other is more custom. Also I seen a Black Thunder with a awesome paint job on page 82 of Poker Runs mag Vol 5 Number 3.

He is a nice guy and has perfected his craft, he used to paint skis way back when I was like 12. That Cig above is a great example of his work. That is Apache Kid's old boat that looked boring and dull, and now it is a knockout. I looked that over close after the paint was put on and it is perfect. Kid bought the 525's back out of the Cig for his new Saber, and he and I had to pull them this week. I hated just working on and around that boat with that brand new paint job on it. I was just waiting to crawl out of the bilge with a screw driver in my back pocket and "eeeeaaaaa" across the paint. Or lifting the motors out and having power steering fluid leak on the paint and F it up:eek: . I dont think I ever worked on something so carefully. The one thing the pics dont show is the deck, it is SWEET. Good Luck, Midnight:cool:

That Nortech was at MitcherT's shop being preped for graphics and paint when I had my hatch scoops at his shop for a makeover. Mitch told me he spends a TON of $$$ in just different widths of masking tape alone. He's a nice guy to deal with and extremely talented. I was very happy with how my hatches turned out.

Yes it did. We purchased it from Lowes Highport when we lived in Texas. We are in Colorado now, but still frequent Lake Texoma on extended weekends.
