29 Fever with 575SCI
 

I am looking at a 29 fever with a 575 SCI My questions are did fountain put this application in a 03? What mph should I expect? How reliable is this motor?

Should be a very reliable set up, maybe a little slow out of the hole, should run 80mph ??

I say a bit more than 80,I believe 84 was the number,up the boost and add a intercooler 90 is in the relm,Set up is the key,props are the answer for speed !! I have gone thru 10 different props to get to were i'am at now,Merc makes a reliable motor,Buy it !!! Go fast !!!!!!! Ray

One thing to be cautious about is I believe (may be wrong) but they don't make that blower on the 575 anymore so parts are getting a little harder to find. Just something to keep in mind.

My 05 w/575sci works great with a Hering 27p 5 blade. Planes fast with a top speed of 84. Only problem to date has been with outdrives. Went to a Teaque Platinum, and things are working well.

Have an 05 w/ 575. Great package. Ive seen 82 at best. still messin with props. Have a labbed 30p b1 commin from b-blades, hope it does pretty good.

What rpm are you getting at 84? and what type of conditions is that in? I have not seen that high, but close

I am on the limiter. the best I have gotten with a labbed 30 was 82 also and it took a long time to get there, the hering is worth the cost, great mid range and it pulls out of the hole better then any prop Ive tried. I am running a LH, got better speeds with RH but they handle poorly.
