48EC subwoofers
 

Where is the amp for a factory installed subwoofer on these boats? I have a friend who bought his used last summer and the subs have never worked. I told him I would check it out for him.

all the way to the right in the cabin in that corner like in front the passenger seat in the cabin...but not sure.....and you say that they are not working....check if there is a extra battery switch in the general area of the main ones...if there is make sure it is on, there sometimes in an extra battery switch for the amps and stereo system......hope i helped!!

It has one amp, which powers two subs and the two rear most cockpit speakers. I found it behind the backrest of the couch in the cabin close to the power panel. figured out the subs had two sets of wire terminals. Apparently an input and an output, in case you wanted to daisy chain the speakers I guess. Anyway the wires were on the outputs of both speakers. Switched them around and whala!
