I Got A 94 27 Fever And I Can Only Get 70mph Out Of It Looking To Get More Speed Any Suggestions??????

Imco Shorty Drive
28p 4 Blade Brovo Prop
I Can Turn It 5,000 Rpm 2 People Full Tank Of Fuel And Get 69-70 Mph And Thats All :(

Id do good ported heads an roller rockers as well. I got good results just fm that on a 502 efi.

With the numbers you are seeing for rpms and mph, it works out to about 20% prop slip. That is assuming you are running 1.5 gears in your drive. Thats very high prop slip. Sounds like your need to be running a 5 blade prop. You could go up in pitch with a 4 blade, but you will still run high slip #s. Are you on the rev-limiter?

Hello , Thanks For The Help ... About The Prop No I Am Not On The Rev Limiter I Had It Raised When I Reflashed The Ecm. And 5000 Rpm It Fills Like It Is Pulling Hard But..... Something Is Not Right Bblades Said It Was Slipping Also And Wants Me To Run A 26p 4blade To See If The Numbers Go Down. What Are You Calculating To Come Up With These Numbers I Dont Understand How You Are Comeing Up With 20% ???????
