Reggiepalooza?
 

As a previous boat owner before buying my Fountain I still get the invites to Formula events. They have get togethers all across the country called Rendezvous. Now Searay has Aquapalooza. Does Fountain have similiar owners events? Reggiepalooza?

Yea its races, but in all seriousness, I have mentioned that Fountain start some owner sponcered events. Thus similar to the Baja events. My real reason to bring it up was to make sure Baja events didn't get canned, but maybe roll it all into one??

The local dealers should be the ones to do this . Afterall, this is a marketing opportunity for dealers to us folks who are already buyers of Fountains. I guess they have enough business already.

Well, as a dealer we do events, Baja Palooza at SML?? As a dealership we have attended 12 boat shows, 4 Concerts, 4 Car Shows, 3 Outdoor Sportsman events, we sponcer take a hero fishing, Fleet Week, Spring Fling Amphibous base, 3 Wine Festivals, Do you want me to even start about fishing tournaments?? How about Poker Runs we Sponcer or Attend and give away shirts/prizes??

Pat I guess maybe in MD, your dealer is just not very involved, and you should encourage them to do more events, but please do not brush a broad stroke here, I don't have a weekend off ususally the whole spring or summer.

All that being said, what type of events do you attend?? We are always looking to improve.

Sorry to brush the broad stroke on you. Wow.You obviously are going to great lengths to be very involved and I was half joking when I made my comment. Sorry, I hadn't thought of all those things. I was really questioning if Fountain was doing brand specific events since I had never heard of any.Thats all.

I'm there too with wanting to have some type of get together with Fountain owners. There are not too many here out west, by that I mean, in one place at one time. I have to put up with all the lake boat regattas (eliminator, conquest, ultra, cobra, nordic, etc) all summer long.

It's cool to meet some at Poker Runs but the runs are usually too action packed to stop and shoot the breeze.

BTW - no local dealers here in So. Cal., unless you counter Powerboatsnorthwest.

I guess we could always do something as simple as putting a place,time and date on OSO for a Fountain Raftup somewhere and see who shows up. If it takes off from there,you can always plan a bigger event or keep it simple again.Thats all I had in mind really.

Pat if you feel like coming down to the Hampton roads area get on the HRPBA club, we have a e-mail list that goes out for any events. Heck saturday their is a cook out at one of the presidents house. I plan on going to http://www.kokoamos.com/
friday and hand stuff out and have some drinks, pending weather. I am always at Chicks bar and run over to Tiki bar.

Oh BTW, we are working on a week long event at Fountain where it is a combined Fish Tournament, and Fun run/Beach party.:ernaehrung004:

Will, I was down that way last week by car but not boat and really like the area. Unfortunately,its a long haul from here by boat[ in gallons more than time] but if I make that run it'd be great to join you. Everyone seems nice down that way and clean water. I'll keep an eye out online and who knows. Also I'd be interested to see the factory maybe when Winter comes and all put away.Thanks for your invite. I Wish it was 60 miles instead of 260.

we were gonna put on a fountain fun run this year out of our marina. unforetunately due to a major illness followed shortly by a death of the same person, we were unable to put it together with the time left and to the magnitude aiming for.
i will be scheduling and planing with more tenacity over this winter to do JUST that.
put on a " FOUNTAIN FUN RUN"
for the summer of 09".
hotel arangements, food , parking, docking, launching and nitelife will be the goal to having a nice run to last the weekend, this way for those of you coming from a long distance it will be worth the trip.
reggie will be in attendance almost certainly. it will be a nice event, about a 70 mile run around the tip of long island.

i will keep you posted.

How about having it at the factory? Get a full tour of the factory and have a run to Morehead City for lunch and then back. Someone get it together and let it go. Contact Wyatt Fountain at the factory and see what happens. Roger

OK had Wyatt Fountain at one of our Boat shows last weekend. A Fountain/Baja gathering is in the works, it will most likely be next spring, but they are trying to make it so their is a fishing tournament say on friday and Poker Run on saturday, Fun beach day sunday. Of course parties every night starting tuesday:drink:

Will..any indication from Wyatt, what location they are looking at? Mid Atlantic, Va., Nc., fishing tournament would seem to close to the ocean.....Robbie, if we can make it you have a ride!!!

Yes, it would probably be in Morehead NC, or at the Foutain Factory in Washington NC. Location is key because they would expect this to be a very big event.:ernaehrung004:

Talked to Wyatt at the Annapolis boat show. Said they are trying to put something together at the Fountain Factory in April of 09. Fun Run/ Poker run, still in the planning stages, no dates as of yet. If interested let them know. Should be a good time.

PPPLLLEEESSSEEE not in April. Every weekend is booked. May is OK
