Best looking 47 Lightning...
 

Hi guys,

we are about to paint the hullsides of a 1999 47 Lightning. The boat is now white wth a blue and red pinstripe from the bow to the stern on the sides of the deck and has no deck graphics. The sides are red with Indy-graphics. But what is the best looking... I bet there are many different preferances, but the owner of the boat want to have it "clean" and we are going to have the hull sides painted blue. But it can't be just blue. Fountains look much better with a few stripes on them, I think.

That red one was cool. Long ago since they used to have the arch backwards.. What speeds are we talking here? And what kind of drives??

how much does it cost to wrap a 47?

there was a post about cost a little while ago around here somewhere... cheaper than fancy paint and the things you can do are incredible...

so what kind of speed will it run, I would love to put a pair of 700's in my 35

I will double check but the running shot was taken at about 93mph GPS, it was aired out pretty good. I actually has 700's with NXT gimbals and # 6 drives. :evilb:

What is the top speed?? ny pictures off the tansome? I am sure it ook awesome with 3x six drive...

Pretty cool paint job... Is that the one that didthe Stockholm poker run to Sandhamn?? That was also full yellow. I was there this summer with a white and blue 2005 35 Executioner.

Hope everything goes well in Stockholm this days. Just pulled up my 29 yesterday. Summer is definately finish now....

Yes thats the boat, must have been one of the best days of the summer ....my scarab has been stored since mid september...... But hopefully there is a couple of months of boating left this year with a friends gozzi 29 sorry for ot...

It ooked lik that boat had diesels by looking at the rev counters... Is that right? Do you know what kind of engines and speed? We have one here aswell. It has three breand new MerCruiser Cummins engines. 330-350 hp each. 74 mph..................... This is the "Samurai III" boat that participated in several poker runs in FL in 2004 and 2005. It had 3x600 SC back then. A very nice boat indeed!! White with yellow hull with Cyclone graphics.

It has tripple 525´s but i think he is uppgrading.....
