What Size Motors Are In That Boat You Are Going To Work On This Winter
700 HP @ 5400 RPM on 91 octane pump gasoline 716 lb./ft. @ 4400 RPM on 91 octane pump gasoline but with the cam change I would guess another 30-50 hp per side. I've had the boat to 99 and hit the limiters at 5650. I'm spinning 31" maximus props but I think I could use a little more pitch but she chine walks and hops pretty bad unless you are in rough enough water. The smoother the water the worse unruly it gets. I've been 95 with the tabs down to about 3.25-3.5 to keep her settled and the props blow out. The stock bravo lower is just punching a hole in the water big enough to lose bite. If I don't end up with a little bigger boat this winter I'm gonna put imco's and XR uppers on her this winter but I'd really like to find a 38 or 42 staggered and do a motor swap so we'll see what happens. What power and what model are you running? |
