side vents -replace, paint, or powdercoat?
 

My 6--side vents are peeling. What is the best way to go? I don't want to do this every couple of years. Any ideas where to send them?

I have installed some chrome Attwoods on a few boats and they look really nice!

I had mine glassed over -- no side vents at all.

I've got blowers that exit through P/S clam shells.

Intake air comes in under the cockpit gunnel: very, very good air flow, it stays cool in there.

This has made my engine compartment dry, and my boat much safer. Those side vents are really un-seaaworthy: huge holes in the side of the boat way too close to the water.

I have a 42 ex and they sit quite high and away from the water and I don't really get a lot of water in the bilge from them. I don't have blowers, so I need the venting. Chrome wouldn't work, need purple. Anyone have 6 of them let me know.

I replaced the plastic ones that came on my 35 with the metal anodized vents, I bought mine through Fountain , i think Dana makes them for Fountain, are all of yours peeling or just a couple of them?

I purchased some Eddie Marine a number of years ago, but couldn't get the holes to line up. I ended up sending them back, and just ordered new plastic ones since the originals had yellowed. Guess, I'll just have to replace every few years.

These are anodized metal and all of them are peeling. I will check out Dana, I had been looking at some from Livorsi.

the fountain one have the fountain star wheel added in where the ones from Dana or Livorsi dont. get them to give you bolt hole measurments so you dont have to fill and drill like i had to

Our vent plates have removable logo plates so we can laser whichever logo is required. We provide Fountain with the vents, and we laser the logo in.
