Its not a 2000 but extremely sweet. Completely updated and spotless in and out. Lots of money invested in last year. Take a look.

Refrained from comment on the Formula forum, but this is our turf here :D. You are on the right track if you want handling and performance. Been in a bunch of Formulas and they don't even begin to stack up when it comes to handling, well built but just don't have the hull design that a Fountain has. Good luck in your search.

Its an awesome boat... and as you said it really is well built, I've owned 2 of them, and I've had NO problems with either boat...however I just don't know why they put "wienie" power in them???? There is no reason why they can't put big blocks in them... plenty of room etc. On to my Fountain!!!! lol:ernaehrung004:

Could be that Formula knows their limitations in terms of safe handling and their hulls abilities when it comes to the larger power. The weight of a pair of big blocks in any 29 footer will take it's toll on the handling in any boat. Don't take the comment above wrong, they are a well constructed boat. My issue is with the handling manners in that they just seem to hunt around at speed, just don't feel solid and on track at higher speeds.

On to your Fountain!!! :ernaehrung004: And don't rule out the 35s, I have owned both the single step and twin step versions and both are well mannered hulls. The newer Lightning twin step is an impressive design, has an edge on it's former version.

Ragged,
Your boat must move huh... twin 525's in a 35'.. NICE! How happy have you been with your 35's overall.... I just heard to stay away from the 35's, something about the twin step design????:ernaehrung004:
