anchor pole light
 

I have a 2000 27 fever that didn't come with a pole light for the back of the boat. I went and bought one and it didn't work. There are 3 pins in the boat and only 2 working connections on the pole. I checked to see how it was wired in the boat and it has the hot wire split going the the 2 pins and a ground wire to the other. Do I need a 3 pin light? I have voltage from the 2 pins to ground.

thanks. I just called them and they said they are the only company that uses that type. It was $50
