Who owns this?
http://www.offshoreonlyclassifieds.c...o24815-en.html
Banker is sayin no (without at least 60% down) because of the year. But I wanted to find out a little more about it first anyways.. Anyone here own this? Can anyone tell me more about the motors and drives? Seems like an ok deal on a big ride. Im not a big fan of the color choices, but Im a big fan of the motor setup. ANy help kids?:food-smiley-007: |
Add says Bruce Kreimeier, says call Bruce, I'd start with Bruce in that it would appear that he might in fact own it.
Sorry, just couldn't resist.:drink: |
Isn't that the "Ohio Steele" race boat that was turned into "Nada Chance"? Same color combo but not sure if that is the same boat. If it is, that would be a way cool boat to own.
|
Not a bad deal for the money. I don't know about you, but the stripes in those seats would give me a phuckin headache. Too bad they did'nt do something a little more easier on the eyes. :angry-smiley-038:

No, thats not the boat.
Agreed, Ohio Steel was a newer model, had the molded in platform and a 3 man cockpit. It is out there and was for sale a little while back. |
Ohio Steel also had #6's i think and was staggerd with twinn 1100 HP, the tailpipes came out overthe swimmplatform and it was/IS BADA$$ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But nontheless,,,this here is a real nice deal .:ernaehrung004: |
agreed on the #6's.. Havent heard back from the owner yet. The financing would need to be pretty creative. ANyone know of a lender that could put something together without a ridiculous amount down? Ya, the interior is AWFUL, absolutely AWFUL and would need to be redone down the line. ANd Im not too crazy about the *** seating at the helm. But I like the size and motors.

You sure thats a real Fountain??? The throttles are on the right.:party-smiley-004:

If you think the bank is bustin your balls, go ahead and call the insurance company on that old thing.
I have been looking at some of this older stuff lately because they are just rigged to well to pass up. But then they want more money to insure it than a 100mph cat. Cool boat, but I would definaltely not worry about people wearing shoes in my boat. |

Fountain,,,especially the older ones where custom,,,you could have the throttles where u whant and the cabin the way u whant it.
And i quess u still can ! It is a 40 fountain 100% Actually i think the throttles where placed by the owner not by fountain,,,,,,add on part on the starbord side !!!!!! Still they did some with rh throttles. |
I converted my throttles to the right, and if and when I ever buy another Fountain, I'll do it again if they are on the left. Best change I ever made. :ernaehrung004:

I like the colors. Very unique.
|
If you dont have left throttles its not a fountain. its like not buying a ferrrari in red.
