Advise on Price of used Fever
I saw this ride in the classifieds:
http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...o27758-en.html It's a 2000, 27 with a 500EFI, not sure how many hours. Looks clean. He's asking 55k, but NADA is around 36K. Anybody got an idea what this thing should go for? Thx! |
Looks like a very nice boat and well taken care of, but I agree, 55K seems a little high, my brother has a 2001 27 Fever that he will let go for less than that w/500efi, always freash water and fully covered in VA. PM if interested:ernaehrung004:

What's the deal? I have a 2000 27 and it has an anchor locker in the bow and a fold up swim step built into the rear swim platform? Are those options? Mine is a Fever2 if that is the difference, any ideas?

i got a 1998 29 fever, its sweet and its for sale. here are the specs. let me know if your interested. ITS A BEAUTY
ONLY 141 HOURS ON THE BOAT. 76+ MPH TOP SPEED. STEPPED HULL. TWIN ENGINE SETUP. TOTAL OF 770 HP. HYDROMOTIVE 4 BLADE INTIMIDATOR 26P SS PROPS. LATHAM HYDRAULIC STEERING. COCKPIT CARPET. The hull is extremely shiny especially the bottom and the top. Exterior of the boat probably looks like the day it left the Fountain factory. This boat was never left in the water for more than a day. The condition of the outdrives, props and hydraulic steering hardware are extremely good. There is a very nice size sunpad on this Fountain. Both electric bolster seats look great and they work. Cockpit carpet is in good shape and it adds a lot of color to the cockpit. The plastic windshield has some scratches inside the plastic and this is perfectly normal on a 10 year old boat. There are lots of storage compartments all around the cockpit and all aircraft style latches work very good. There is also a small glove box compartment next to the passenger seat for cellphones etc... This boat is very fast and agile and it has extreme handling thanks to its high performance stepped hull. Boat has a lot of power compare to its size and weight. This boat also has a single engine version, but having twin engine setup is much better. Top speed is around 76 + MPH and it rides extremely stable at that speed. It planes in approx 4.6 seconds. Boat cruises at 3500 RPM at 52 MPH. This boat has a really advanced bottom design. Helm is also very well laid out and you have all the important controls at your finger tips. Compression is perfect on both motors and engine room looks good. The overall length of the boat is 29 feet. Has a beam of 96 inches and weighs a substantial 5,500 pounds. With the drives in the down position you will need approx 32 inches of water to clear the Hydromotive 4-blade performance stainless steel propellers. Bravo ones have the lower water pick ups. Overall, everything looks good on this boat. Interior looks very good and its very clean. Headliner and interior upholstery is very good. There is a very nice sleeping area in the cabin along with a sink, built in cooler and lots of storage and cup holders. Tube lighting looks incredible at night and makes this area very attractive for overnight trips. There is also a porta potti in the cabin under the u-shaped seating at the center. The first boat you posted(2000) will be a 10 year old boat at the end of the summer.
NADA is probably right on the money. |
If your looking for a bargin on a 27, here is an 04 with 496 mag that is bank repo and goes to highest bidder the bank approves. I would think it could be had for upper 40's with a trailer. It looks like it might need a good cleaning though. the link will take you to main page and just search for the 27 fountain stock #W-2065.
